Our special Professional featured this festive month is none other than Santa Claus from the North Pole! Santa is a favorite among all athletes worldwide and INSIDE LOOP recently got the opportunity to visit Santa, although he was EXTREMELY busy! Here's what he had to say!

Inside Loop: Santa, so what's in store for the “nice” athletes this season as opposed to the “naughty” ones?

Santa Claus:

Those on my nice list will surely be pleased.
New batons and towels to twirl and spin with ease!
Practice clothes to water bottles, jazz shoes to bobby pins.
New costumes with rhinestones….AND gym time without interruption!

Now, now, now, there's still a little more time get some last-minute nice points in before the big day!

Don't be naughty, or I won't stop my sleigh.
I will fly right on by; to the next house I'll go…
Giving out no drops to kids who will stop the show.
So say please and thank you, hold the door for your friend.
Obey your parents and play nice, that is the Santa trend.

Practice hard my dear athletes, some far and near.
Work on those rolls, I'll be back to check in a year.
You've done well, this last twirling season.

Inside Loop: So Santa, tell us three things the twirling world doesn't know about you!

• 1. I personally coached and choreographed the 385-time Magical Character WORLD TEAM CHAMPIONS! My team of eight elves have successfully defeated the Bunny-ettes of Easter, the Sneaky Leprechauns of St. Patrick's Day, AND the headless horseman of Halloween. We intend to keep the streak alive this year when all eight elf team members will be the first team in history to compete quadruple illusions!

• 2. When I am not delivering presents, coaching the elf World Team, or managing my workshop, I enjoy curling, ice skating, hockey, ice fishing, making snowballs, eating gingerbread, making fruitcake, candy, candy corns, candy canes AND hanging up lights!

• 3. I love to travel the world visiting luxurious white sand beaches! Santa deserves a vacation every now and again right!? You know where else I LOVE to visit!?……Stockton, CA! It's beautiful in July I hear…. maybe I will see you there!
