USTA sanctions approximately 200 local, state, regional and national twirling competitions each year, giving athletes the opportunity to demonstrate their twirling skills in an atmosphere of fun, friendship and good sportsmanship. For a complete list of competitions, visit our Calendar.
USTA-sanctioned competitions are sponsored by individuals and state and regional twirling councils, using official USTA music and USTA-certified judges. Some competitions may offer additional unsanctioned events not listed below.
Any athlete who enters a USTA-sanctioned contest must hold some type of USTA membership. The $12 “Member for a Day” is a good option for an athlete trying competition for the first-time. Learn about the benefits of USTA membership and membership levels here.
