Apply now for USTA Creative Challenge Grant( Thu, Apr 1 00:04:AM)


Dear USTA Professional Member,

The USTA Creative Challenge Grant program was designed to promote the growth of participation in the sport of baton twirling. The USTA Board of Directors will award grants of up to $5,000 for projects they believe will promote participation, development and growth opportunities for your organization and USTA.

Please use the following guidelines to prepare your proposal for the USTA Creative Challenge Grant program.

Personal and Historical Information:

  • Brief history of you and/or your organization.
Purpose of Request:
  • Describe the specific need or opportunity that this funding will address.
  • Describe how this project relates to your organization’s overall mission.
  • Explain how this project will benefit your organization and USTA.
  • Summarize the work plan that will be used to accomplish this request. Include tasks and timetables for staff and key organizations. Include community resources utilized for this effort.
  • Describe your criteria for success. What do you realistically want to happen because of your activities?
  • Explain short-term changes and long-term impacts from this project.
Financial Plan:
  • Submit a financial budget for the proposed project.
  • Include all projected costs.
  • Provide the potential financial return on your project.
Evaluation Plan:
  • How will you measure success?
  • Who will be involved in evaluating this work?
  • What will you do with the results of your evaluation?
  • How will it be used to affect the program?
  • Describe how the resources to sustain this effort will be secured.
  • Recap and supply any further information that may assist the USTA Board of Directors in the selection of your project. Be creative and focus on the uniqueness of your project and how it promotes the growth and development of the sport of baton twirling.
